As always, TTT is hosted by The Broke and The Bookish. This week’s topic: other types of stories (tv, movies, etc.) I’m breaking down my Top Ten Favorite TV Shows, in no particular order.

1. Fringe

-Confession: I haven’t actually watched the very last episode. I’m planning to rewatch the last season..eventually.

2. Parks and Recreation

-Just consistently funny from start to finish.

3. Firefly

-Finally got around to watching it this year…so good!

4. Games of Thrones

-Nothing much to be said here.

5. Battlestar Galactica (reboot)

-I only have a few more episodes of this, but this is definitely one of my very favorite shows, though it’s often dark and intense.

6. The League

-The boyfriend got me into this one. Why else would I have started watching a show about Fantasy Football when I don’t even like football? But it’s not really about football, mostly just a bunch of dudes trash-talking each other. Super funny.

7. The Office (U.S.)

-Finally watched the last season last week and man were those last couple episodes before the finale good!

8. Shameless (U.S.)

-I’m only on season two, but I’m really enjoying this one!

9. True Detective

-Only one season in, but it was killer.

10. The O.C.

-Hands up: who didn’t wish they lived in their own pool house in California after watching this one?

Honorable Mentions:

11. Gossip Girl

-Deliciously glitzy fun. Even if I still haven’t watched the second half of the last season.

12. Heroes

-This show had really great potential, even if it got away from that. Still haven’t watched the last season.

13. Pretty Little Liars

-It may not be great tv, but it sure is entertaining.

What do you think of my picks? What are some of your favorite shows?

  1. I totally forgot about Fringe. That was a phenomenal show that managed to touch on a lot of real theoretical “fringe” science. I miss that show 😦
    All round fantastic list!!

    • Thank you!! I know, I miss it so much…privately I think I’ve been holding out on the last episode because a) I have to admit it’s over and b) the longer I go, the more excuse I have to just watch the show all over again
