I’m excited to announce I’ve had a story published in a brand-new anthology called Murderbugs!
Part of the Unhelpful Encyclopedia series of anthologies, Murderbugs takes us on another wild ride into the dark, creepy, and fascinating corners of the world. This anthology is packed with twenty thrilling tales, each featuring encounters with different arthropods. From garden-variety pests to colossal hard-shelled giants, these stories will keep you on the edge of your seat.
And here’s the best part—one of those tales is mine! My story, “Gold Bug Fever,” is a part of this amazing collection. A historical fantasy murder mystery, my story offers a nod to Edgar Allan Poe’s “The Gold Bug.” In turn-of-the-century San Francisco, a city is caught in the outbreak of a mysterious, deadly fever…but all may not be what it seems.
Whether the arthropods are villains, victims, or victors, each story in Murderbugs promises to be a captivating read. So, grab a comfy seat, maybe inside a mosquito net for extra effect, and dive into these illustrated adventures.
I’m so grateful for your continued support, and I’d love for you to check out Murderbugs. You can find it here. Your feedback and thoughts on “Gold Bug Fever” would mean the world to me!
Thank you for being with me on this journey. I hope you enjoy this anthology as much as I enjoyed being a part of it.
