As always, Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by the Broke and the Bookish. This week’s theme is top ten settings I’d like to see more of.
1. Private boarding schools
-I’m such a sucker for books like this. Think Kate Brian’s Private Series and Cecily Von Ziegesar It Girl series.
2. Turkey
-Are there any books set in Turkey?
3. The Nazca Linea
-One of my favorite ancient mysteries. I want to see more books dealing with them.
4. Colorado
-It tickles me to read a book that’s actually set in a place I know well.
5. Australia
-Such a cool place.
6. Dystopian/Apocalyptic Earth
-Perhaps the only person who doesn’t mind The Hunger Games trickle-down effect.
7. The Fashion World
-Think Devil Wears Prada.
8. Los Angeles/ Beverly Hills
-Think Gossip Girl but in LA.
9. San Francisco
-Another lovely city.
10. Russia
-I love Russian lit. I’d love to see a resurgence of it.
